SYSPRO Leverages Microsoft Partnership, Windows 10 Universal Windows Platform (UWP), to Unify Espresso Desktop, Tablet, Phone Operating System
COSTA MESA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SYSPRO, a provider of best-of-breed, award-winning enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for on-premise, cloud-based and mobile utilization, today announced that the SYSPRO mobile application Espresso, which is built on the Microsoft Universal Windows Platform, will be further enhanced with the roll-out of Continuum on Microsoft Windows 10. Continuum enables mobile phone users to enjoy a desktop-like experience by plugging the phone into any external monitor, in effect, turning the smartphone into a PC in the user’s pocket or purse.
According to SYSPRO USA CEO Brian Stein, the Espresso enhancement is indicative of the ways SYSPRO is continually working to bring the ultimate intuitive ERP user experience to customers, including top down visibility across the supply chain. “Very simply,” he says, “the user interface will adjust itself according to the device needs of each individual user.” Adds Stein, “These advances exemplify the ways SYSPRO is empowering users to intuitively maximize the utilization of technology. SYSPRO realizes that the future successes of manufacturers and distributors will depend upon the ability to connect to the world – connecting to and providing visibility of data that is stuck out in the Internet, in effect tying together the Internet of Things, predictive analytics and a deeply intuitive user interface and experience.”
About SYSPRO Espresso
SYSPRO was the first to market an all-inclusive ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) mobile solution. Not only does it support multiple mobile devices as well as the desktop, the SYSPRO Espresso architecture enables full customization by both the user to adjust how the user interface (UI) behaves, as well as by the developer through the use of components (building blocks), to add business functionality in the back-end on the server.
SYSPRO Espresso is targeted at executives who require immediate access to c-level information as well as all users that are not office bound and who require secure access to real-time data.
The SYSPRO Espresso architecture is one of the first platforms of its kind to use a single source codebase (for the business logic) to create native applications for any mobile device with built-in powerful customization capabilities both for the end-user and for developers to engage. The compelling benefit derived from this strategy is easy access to SYSPRO at lower costs of development combined with a high degree of product quality.
