As a finalist, Rood will receive either a gold, silver or bronze “Stevie” in the category “Woman of the Year – Technology.” The awards will be presented on November 14, 2014, at a gala in New York City.
Joan Rood is Implementation and Training Services Manager for SYSPRO USA. Her career spans more than twenty years working with SYSPRO software. During the course of her career, she has held portfolios within the Sales, Implementation and Training environments. Rood was influential in the development of the award-winning STARS Implementation Methodology for the SYSPRO ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software product. STARS revolutionized ERP implementation by speeding software installation for customers while, at the same time, streamlining business processes, thus enabling the customer to realize a faster ROI and enhance customer service.
